The beautiful scenery of autumn easily lends itself to the perfect backdrop for a baby shower. Warm oranges, burnt reds and pretty pale pinks work together to create a whimsical setting for a fall baby shower.

Fall baby shower ideas you need to copy asap!
It’s always fun to play up the season in gatherings and parties and baby showers are certainly no exception. Which baby shower idea are you falling for?
We’re adding s’more love to our family
As the warmer temps give way to cool, crisp fall temperatures, it’s time to light up the bonfire; nothing says fall quite like s’mores. I love this s’more love to our family baby shower theme, as it’s a little different than the play on pumpkins or the word fall. Plus, if you haven’t set up a s’more bar or charcuterie board yet, this gives you the perfect excuse to do so !
Falling in love with (baby’s name)
You can’t go wrong with a play on the word fall! I’m totally falling in love with how well autumn lends itself to baby shower themes.
A little pumpkin is on the way
Using the word pumpkin in the theme is not only acceptable but almost required if you’re going to host a fall baby shower!
One sweet little pumpkin
I like that whoever threw this party took the “sweet” part of one sweet little pumpkin literally!
Apple of my eye
A departure from the typical use of “pumpkin” or “fall,” could be fun! Plus, you can go all out with this apple theme, with the food. Think apple pie, apple donuts, apple butter, apple cider…the possibilities are endless!
Cutest pumpkin in the patch
This might be my favorite theme out of all of them, simply because that cake looks divine, and I love the use of pumpkin seeds!
Fall baby shower food ideas
Before you start thinking about food, you need to pick a time for your baby shower, first. While it’s not “required” to serve a meal at a baby shower, it’s courteous to think about the time you want to host your baby shower as it typically relates to normal meal times.
I’m a big fan of hosting baby showers outside of normal window times and just serving desserts and very light hors d’oeuvres. I also think you could get away with just serving desserts, too. The key to pulling this off is to schedule it either mid morning (say, 10ish) or mid afternoon (around 2 p.m.).
Fall so beautifully lends itself to wonderful yummy treats that you can easily incorporate into the mix. Think spiced apple doughnuts, apple pie, pumpkin pie, apple butter with muffins, etc.
In terms of drinks, I love apple cider, pumpkin spice coffee and tea, or even a non alcoholic sangria with fall fruits.
If you wanted to serve something a bit more substantial you could think about serving fall favorites like butternut squash soup, hot ham and cheese sliders or crostini with apple and a soft cheese and a drizzle of honey. Yum!
Fall baby shower decor ideas
There’s no question, fall is simply one of the prettiest seasons to capitalize on, decor wise. And guess what, you can totally go the DIY route! I really like orange, peach or white roses, dahlias, and mums to use in floral arrangements this time of year. You can easily make beautiful flower arrangements yourself (just watch a couple youtube videos) and I love getting flowers from Trader Joes, Whole Foods or Fresh Market and deconstructing them for something that looks like a florist did it.
If you don’t have confidence in your floral abilities, use a bunch of different sized and colored pumpkins and some fresh eucalyptus for a pretty centerpiece.
